Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Plant City, Florida. In this role, you will focus on bank reconciliations and support essential accounting functions in a perfume-free office environment. This opportunity is fully on-site, requiring availability Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

- Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

- Process invoices and manage billing operations efficiently.

- Input and verify data within accounting systems to maintain organized financial records.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial processes.

- Adhere to office policies, including maintaining a fragrance-free environment.

- Operate within organizational accounting software, as needed, to support daily operations. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation and general accounting tasks.

- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Familiarity with billing and invoice processing procedures.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Comfortable working in a fragrance-free office environment.

- Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week.
