AI Data Engineer (Python & React) Long Term Contract Remote

We are looking for an AI Data Engineer to build and scale data systems that power AI-driven and agent-based applications
. This role focuses on data pipelines, Python backend services, and React frontends
, with hands‑on experience using Airflow
, integrating AI orchestration frameworks such as Lang Graph
, and supporting event‑driven workflows
.

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Airflow
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python
• Implement and manage event-driven workflows for data and AI processes
• Integrate AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Graph) into production systems
• Build and maintain React-based user interfaces for AI and data features
• Integrate frontend applications with backend and data services
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production workflows

• Strong experience with Python for data engineering and backend development
• Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL, pipelines, data modeling)
• Hands‑on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
• Experience designing and working with event-driven architectures and workflows
• Experience with AI application frameworks such as Lang Graph, Lang Chain, or similar tools
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Proficiency with SQL and/or No
  
  SQL databases
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows

• Experience with vector databases or semantic search systems
• Exposure to LLM-based application development
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments
• Familiarity with data monitoring and observability tools
