PySpark AWS SQL Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client seeks a team of PySpark AWS SQL Engineers in Plano, TX. This is an opportunity for fulltime employment with our client.

Duties:

* Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

* Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes

REQUIREMENTS:

* Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

* Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with over 7+ years of applied experience

* Extensive hands-on experience with PySpark/ETL/Streaming Pipelines

* Experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS

* Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java

Preferred:

* Experience with Python, Shell scripting and Unix systems

* Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management

* Familiarity with modern LLM techniques and practical LLM use case development experience using OpenAI Azure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
