Java Developer, Software Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have expertise in Java, React JS, Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot, and J2EE, and will be responsible for managing geospatial projects and contributing to impactful solutions leveraging geospatial data.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Java Developer job responsibilities include:
- Managing and delivering geospatial projects effectively
- Developing and maintaining Java applications using React JS, Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot, and J2EE
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage geospatial data for impactful solutions
- Ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions are implemented
Desired
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Java development and geospatial project management
- Expertise in Java, React JS, Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot, and J2EE
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
Required Skills:

- AWS cloud, Angular JS, Test Automation,

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
