Building Maintenance Technician

Camelot Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a mobile field position that requires operating a company‑provided vehicle to travel to multiple customer locations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience performing a wide range of general building maintenance duties and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Full‑time

• General Maintenance & Repairs
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance at commercial client sites.
  • Replace ceiling tiles, patch and repair drywall, and perform touch‑up painting.
  • Conduct minor repairs on electrical systems (e.g., outlet replacements, lighting issues).
  • Address plumbing issues such as leaky faucets or clogged drains.
  • Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and perform basic adjustments or repairs.
• Troubleshooting & Inspection
  • Diagnose minor facility‑related problems and elevate issues that require specialized service.
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
  • Identify potential safety hazards and maintenance needs proactively.
• Work Order Management
  • Utilize a work‑order system to receive, document, and complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain accurate service records and close out work orders upon task completion.
• Customer Interaction
  • Serve as a frontline representative of the company when on‑site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding job status and scope of work.
  • Deliver high‑quality service in a courteous and professional manner.
• Vehicle Operation
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and follow all road safety policies.

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, testing instruments, and safety protocols.
• Experience using digital or mobile work‑order management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus.
