As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk Specialist in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM‑07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM‑07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage communications and dispatch operations within a tech, media, and telecom location, coordinating with on‑site personnel as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, relaying information to appropriate parties.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of dispatch activities, incident reports, and communications.
• Assist in the coordination of response teams during emergencies and/or incidents, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and/or other systems to relay information and instructions.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating response and documenting findings as reported by mobile personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to deter unauthorized activities within the location.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
