Security Guard/Janitor - Night Shift at Advanced Integration Technology

The Security Guard/Janitor will be a highly observant and detail-oriented professional responsible for routine patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining cleanliness of common areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the facility.

• Control access to the site for authorized individuals during closed hours.
• Regularly conduct surveillance rounds in designated areas to ensure site security.
• Respond to security alarms, suspicious activity, and emergencies by contacting relevant authorities.
• Promptly report any malfunctions, serious anomalies, or safety hazards to management or the designated person according to established policies.
• Maintain logbooks documenting security activities and observations.
• Monitor the operation of running equipment during surveillance rounds and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the main building, including administrative areas, offices, conference rooms, entrances, break rooms, and bathrooms.

• 5+ years of experience in security and/or janitorial work.

• Perform sweeping, mopping, emptying trash bins, vacuuming, and cleaning of all specified areas.
• Restock dispensers and perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper functioning of pumps and other operating equipment when required.
• Carry out snow removal work to maintain premise safety.
• Participate in required training and courses, keeping them up to date.
• Understand and apply safety procedures when handling equipment or chemical products.
• Follow Work Safe NB guidelines for employees working alone.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support smooth operation.

• Environment Type: Indoor, Office environment. Temperature controlled.
• Exposure Types: May be exposed to dirty and chemical products, as well as toxic gases.
• Work Hours: Night shift hours; overtime may be necessary.
• Travel Requirements: No travel required.
• Physical Demands: Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. May be required to handle heavy and dirty objects while working mainly alone.
