Responsibilities

  • Experience in selling a service – cable, phone, electric, etc. – does not necessarily need to be SaaS experience
  • Someone who wants to be in Sales – working to convert shoppers to buyers
  • Full cycle selling – Understanding the need to placing the order
  • Someone who can handle working in multiple software systems
  • Will handle a high volume of calls and/or chats
  • Will be working to sell addressing up to 5 different product lines:
    Payments (Merchant Processing), Payroll, Live Bookkeeping, QB Core Product (Desktop and Cloud)
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying in a SAAS environment or equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ years experience understanding of the client management lifecycle and ability to collaborate effectively with pipeline management or equivalent
  • Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or other financial management software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing key sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Solution, or Sandler is preferred
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools like Saleforce, Chili Piper is preferred

Sales methodology to include proper introduction, discovery, recap, recommendation, closing. Also the ability to calculate basic returns on investment. Software acumen, for example, what is the cloud?

Typing at least 50 words per minute. Able to learn multiple internal software programs quickly (i.e. Saleforce, Google Docs, Outlook, etc.) Ability to self-coach by assessing sales performance, identifying the most important behavior to focus on, implementing change and observing the outcomes.

  • Articulates off premise (cloud/hosted) value proposition through use of analogies/story telling
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology
  • Leverages relevant/tailored data and industry insights in all phases of sales process to advance the sale
Technical Business Acumen
  • Effortlessly speaks to the importance of modernizing / automating most critical business processes.
  • Understands and articulates how online solutions, automation, and AI solutions improve business effectiveness (profit, efficiency, accuracy)
  • Fluent in communicating and demonstrating how online/Saas solutions translate to meeting biz objectives
  • Product and Service based industry acumen is a must
