Position Overview

The Vascular Consultant is a mid-level sales professional responsible for driving adoption and utilization of Argon Medical Devices’ VTE portfolio within assigned hospitals, vascular labs, and interventional suites. This role focuses on building foundational clinical expertise, supporting physicians during cases, and achieving territory sales goals through consultative selling and relationship development.

What you will do
  • Promote Argon’s VTE product portfolio to interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and other specialists.
  • Support in-service training and case coverage, ensuring procedural success and physician confidence in product performance.
  • Execute territory-level sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of VTE disease states, clinical procedures, and competitive products.
  • Maintain CRM documentation for all sales calls, case support, and territory activity.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists, Contracts and Marketing to align regional strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows, local society meetings, and educational events to expand professional network and product visibility.
  • Adequately build procedural and clinical product knowledge to inservice or certify physicians and staff on the usage of Argon products.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Observe live procedures in the lab and operating room of accounts to gain insight into the specific preferences of each physician and staff member involved in the procedures.
  • Work with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal to help establish pricing packages that will address each individual customer/IDN needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Respond in a timely fashion to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing a creative and feasible solution, including working with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal (Clinical, Marketing, Contracts) to find an optimal solution for the customer.
Skills for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of medical device or clinical sales experience preferred (vascular or cath lab experience a plus).
  • Clinical Aptitude:
    Builds foundational understanding of VTE disease states, device technology, and procedural application.
  • Sales Execution:
    Demonstrates discipline in daily planning, pipeline management, and goal attainment.
  • Relationship Building:
    Develops trust with physicians, staff, and key stakeholders through responsiveness and reliability.
  • Learning Agility:
    Quickly absorbs technical information, applies feedback, and adapts in dynamic clinical settings.
  • Communication:
    Clearly articulates product benefits and differentiators to clinical and administrative audiences.
  • Accountability:
    Meets activity and performance expectations with consistency and integrity.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, as well as networks and internet applications.
Base Salary Range

$115,000 - $145,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location and budget).
