💼 Role: R&D Assistant Scientist

• Perform laboratory analyses of dietary fiber, starch/sugars, proteins, fats, ash, and moisture to support Pepsi Co R&D and operations
• Prepare samples, chemicals, solutions, and equipment following established laboratory procedures
• Collect, interpret, and accurately document analytical data using LIMS and other digital platforms
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, IC) as needed
• Record and communicate test results clearly and on time to management and stakeholders
• Coordinate with test requestors and managers to prioritize and manage workloads effectively
• Organize, maintain, and purge laboratory samples regularly
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and support lab safety audits to ensure data quality and safe operations
• Assist managers with the smooth day-to-day operation of the laboratory

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Material Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, or IC is preferred
• Basic understanding of food nutrients, including fiber, protein, starch, sugars, and oils
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate results within required timelines
