Overview

Position: RN-CVICU-Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract) – 8-week contract in Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational targets.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
  • Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Current RN license in Texas with CVICU experience preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • Strong ability to monitor and assess patients' vital signs effectively.
  • Ability to achieve departmental and organizational performance targets.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare teams to create care plans.
  • Proficiency in administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Experience educating patients and families on health management.
  • Strong skills in maintaining accurate documentation of care activities.
  • Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
