RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Travel assignment in a 41-bed Level II-III NICU

• Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 (rare)

• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule

• No on-call responsibilities

• Must have Level II-III NICU experience (candidates without this experience will not be considered)

• Level III-IV experience preferred

• Required certifications: BLS and NRP

• Work with equipment including HFOV, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care

• Electronic medical records: CPN and Meditech

• Perform typical procedures including surgery (except heads/hearts), respiratory support, and micropremie care

• May float to nursery when needed

• Dress code:
Royal blue scrubs required

• Team-oriented work environment with 1 charge nurse and 9+ RNs per shift

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive 41-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit located on the 2nd floor of Building

A. The NICU provides Level II-III care with advanced equipment and technology to support critically ill newborns. The unit maintains a well-staffed environment with approximately 60 nursing staff members and operates with excellent patient-to-nurse ratios. The facility utilizes modern electronic medical record systems and provides specialized care including micropremie support and various surgical procedures.
