Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join the ICU Stepdown/PCU team for night shifts, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the B3
PCU Overflow, a progressive care/ICU stepdown unit - Provides care to progressive care and ICU stepdown patients
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Provide nursing care for stepdown and progressive care patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital environment
- Must have all required documentation, including license verification and certifications, ready for consideration
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent experience in stepdown, PCU, or ICU settings
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Must provide at least one professional reference
- Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
