Job Title: Advanced Practitioner
Reports to: Clinical Operations Manager
Employment Type: Per Diem – Up to 20 hrs/week, min 1 shift/month
Location: 5425 W. Spring Creek Pkwy, Suite 125, Plano, TX 75024
We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to provide advanced infusion care in a physician-based ambulatory infusion center. The Advanced Practitioner will create and maintain care plans, support nurses during infusions, evaluate patients as needed, and serve as the primary clinical liaison between the referring physician’s office and the infusion center.
Responsibilities- Review clinical information from referring physician offices and admit appropriate patients for infusion.
- Evaluate newly referred patients and develop initial plans of care.
- Monitor and adjust plans of care as necessary.
- Perform pertinent physical examinations to confirm suitability for infusion.
- Review all laboratory reports and request additional diagnostic studies as required.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life‑saving procedures when necessary.
- Consult with the supervising Medical Director as necessary.
- Document infusion orders and clinical notes in the electronic medical record.
- Promote company quality outcome initiatives and delegate responsibilities to staff nurses.
- Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control, provide patient education, and enforce HIPAA compliance guidelines.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant in the state of service.
- Current DEA license.
- Rheumatology and/or infusion experience preferred.
- 1‑3 years in a clinic setting preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and time‑management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and uphold a high degree of professional ethics and regulatory compliance practices.
- Pay Range: $56.00 – $58.00 per hour.
- 401K with match up to 4%.

- Per Diem status:
Up to 20 hrs/week, must work a minimum of 1 shift/month to remain active. - Shift Availability:
Weekends and other days as needed, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
The work environment is an indoor medical office and is generally quiet, including the sounds of medical equipment. Physical demands include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, occasionally standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
