Work hours:

Part Time, 16 Hours;
Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with call and holidays

Radiology Department Highlights
  • Variety of exams performed
  • Comprehensive Stroke Center, Trauma Center, Advanced Cardiac
  • Fast paced high acuity and volume facility around 120 exams a day
  • Collaborative Radiologist Group including Interventionalist and Neuro Interventionist
  • Strong relationship with ED and Nursing
What You Need
  • Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or
  • BSN preferred
  • Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign exchange equivalency required
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • One year of Radiology experience preferred
  • Experience in ICU or ED with conscious sedation highly preferred
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life support upon hire preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required
What You Will Do
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
