Elevate Hilti's Brand Through Experiences
Responsible for driving awareness for the Hilti brand through events, sponsor ships, and co-branded partnerships by partnering with product, trade and Sr. Brand Manager to develop and plan successful customer-facing events that advance the recognition of the company and the brand.
Discover new opportunities to establish a stronger bond with our trade target audience and increase market share. Manage external marketing events by executing strategy, managing all operational tasks to include relevant inventory, displays, operating expenses and vendors. The Brand and Marketing Events Expert is also responsible for visual brand identity and co-branding/sponsor ships operational execution, logo usage, facility branding, and day to day operations of the corporate fashion and promotional items.
The Brand and Marketing Events Expert's creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing customer and Hilti relations, and improving our organization's growth through touchpoints that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.
What You'll do- Build awareness/preference for the Hilti brand through the planning and execution of integrated marketing events that reflect the overall brand strategy and create an ideal brand experience
- Work closely with other event managers and trade/project team members to determine appropriate strategies and measures for brand marketing activities
- Develop and manage a detailed budget and roadmap for event marketing activities designed to increase competence, customer relationship and market share
- Develop and manage timelines, workflow, budgeting, and invoicing under pressure
- Ensure all internal and external activities convey consistent brand value message and adhere to corporate brand guidelines (act as a "brand guardian")
- Establish cross-functional teams with colleagues in corporate roles, trade, Product Leadership Strategy, channels, brand and digital to meet overall corporate objectives
- Communicate with local team management on a timely basis to provide direction, gather feedback, answer questions, etc. on relevant topics
- Monitor success of activities through predetermined measures and communicate those effectively
- Execute with appropriate team members, tradeshow strategies where the brand best represents Hilti and provides increased company benefit
- Manage tradeshow and event inventory while maintaining a balanced approach on tool/consumable quantities
- Review, approve and coordinate assets for MO Marketing- and/or HUB-level sponsor ships
- Responsible for the operational oversight and execution of World of Concrete
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders' design and execution ideas for facility branding
- Manage the day-to-day operations for corporate fashion and promotional items
- Direct agencies and internal team members in the development of effective marketing communications and activities
- Develop and manage detailed project budgets and manage project timelines, workflow, and responsibilities with a network of external vendors
- Additional duties, as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in public relations, communications, marketing, hospitality, or event management
- Three (3) years' experience in a broad range of marketing and sales activities with marketing event operations experience required
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Creative Suite, required
- Capable of building working relationships with subject matter experts, required
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally at all levels of the organization internally and externally, required
- Excellent communication (grammar, oral, and written) skills; team player who can take initiative and be diplomatic, required
- Outstanding organizational, time management, detail and process-oriented skills
- Ability to work sometimes unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Entrepreneur mindset who requires little supervision to meet corporate goals
- Ability to develop effective, result-focused marketing communications under pressure
