Description

Reporting structure:

• Reports to the Test Supervisor

Position description & essential functions:

• Functionally test and troubleshoot all sub-assemblies, finished product, rework, and repairs using automated test equipment, software, oscilloscope, multimeters.
• Understand test results, reporting on failures, and working supervisor and team to troubleshoot issues when they occur.
• Set up test equipment to ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics to be able to perform tests and troubleshooting activities.
• Understand IPC requirements.
• Support our ESD & FOD control polices.

Requirements

• Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Be able to interpret work instructions, schematics drawings, travelers in relation to products being tested.

• Working knowledge of electronic components and their application.

• Ability to use basic hand tools used in the electronics industry.

• Experience with these key electronics testing equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer.

• Able to fit with company culture, teamwork, and professional communication.

• Required education and experience:

• High school diploma or six months' work-related experience

• IPC 610 (latest rev) certification, preferred

• 1-3 years of experience work in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.

• A description of the physical demands:

• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.

• Ability to sit or stand for full 8-hour shift.

• A description of the work environment:

• Electronics manufacturing.

• Work within a team or as an individual contributor.

• A description of Safety Requirements:

• Safety Glasses required when washing boards, trimming leads, and soldering boards.

• ESD environment - ESD smocks, wrist and heel straps are worn to perform work.
