Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler with at least one year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This position is a 6‑month contract with the potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities- Read and understand assembly drawings.
- Assemble and build mail automation equipment.
- Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.
- Work both independently and within a team depending on the project.
- Ability to read assembly drawings similar to IKEA furniture blueprints.
- Ability to recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.
- Ability to identify hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
- Experience using both hand and power tools is strongly preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness to submit to a drug test.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a manufacturing environment that is climate controlled. The position requires a full‑time commitment on the first shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The team values personality, collaboration, and a strong desire to succeed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
