Pc Board Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Board Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting a wide variety of incoming materials, supplies, mechanical parts, and electronic components to ensure they meet engineering and customer specifications and standards.

• Inspect a wide variety of incoming materials, supplies, mechanical parts, and electronic components.
• Follow quality inspection procedures, blueprints, and sampling plans to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
• Perform visual and instrument inspection of incoming materials such as printed circuit boards, sheet metal, plastic, cable assemblies, and machined parts.
• Utilize inspection instruments such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, continuity testers, go and no go gauges, pin gauges, steel rulers, and scales.
• Inspect parts for visual characteristics such as color, finish, and flash burrs, as well as all dimensional requirements like height, width, depth, length, radius, weight, O.D., and I.D.
• Complete the First Article Inspection (FAI) form, collaborating with Product Engineers and Quality Engineers as needed.
• Complete the Supplier Non-Conforming Report (SNCR) form, working closely with the Supply Chain, Product Engineers, and Quality Engineers to finalize the MRB disposition and SNCR process.

• 2 years of incoming inspection and 5 years of quality control experience.
• Attention to quality and detail.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Basic math skills.

• Experience with PC board inspection and component inspection.
• IPC-610 certification.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as optical comparators and CMM inspection equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plano, TX.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 28, 2026.
