The Sales Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the sales department, leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and increase profitability, all while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction standards. This role is key to ensuring a smooth sales process from start to finish, maximizing vehicle sales, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Sales Director

Job Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the development of viable sales forecasts and associated sales strategies
  • Leads, coaches, and motivates a team of salespeople to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership procedures, financing programs, and promotions
  • Ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about product offerings, promotions, and financing options to provide accurate information to customers
  • Develops and implements sales strategies that increase dealership revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Assists in negotiating and closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable transactions
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Assists with managing the department budget
  • Oversees inventory management to ensure the dealership has an optimal selection of vehicles
  • Create and maintain a positive, customer-friendly atmosphere on the sales floor
  • Leadership skills to build and inspire a high-performing sales team

Job Requirements
  • Minimum two years of team management experience
  • Displayed ability in developing, implementing, and measuring the impacts and effectiveness of internal processes, interdepartmental relationships, and customer experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both verbal and written form
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a team-oriented culture
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings to include: background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Unrestricted driver license and clean driving record
