A leading Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Category Management to lead the Mobile Enhancements business. This role owns full P&L responsibility and drives strategy, planning, and execution to achieve daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual revenue and profitability targets.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, execution-focused, and experienced in managing large-scale eCommerce categories. This role partners cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, finance, product, and data teams to deliver a streamlined consumer journey and sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Own P&L performance for the Mobile Enhancements category, driving strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Lead bottoms-up planning and forecasting based on category-level promotional and marketing plans.
- Partner with category management, performance marketing, product, and finance teams during Quarterly Commercial Deal (QCD) planning and manage program approvals.
- Drive category growth through monthly and quarterly business plans and oversee day-to-day onsite execution.
- Develop joint business plans with Mobile Enhancement teams, including investment strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, including traffic, conversion funnel, promotional lift, and marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Channel Marketing to develop campaigns, improve messaging, and increase qualified traffic.
- Analyze promotion performance by customer cohorts to inform targeted offer strategies.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to increase collaboration and investment from carrier partners to drive connected phone sales.
- Monitor model-level profitability and identify optimization opportunities to improve overall profit rates.
- Track competitor activity, industry trends, and seasonality, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Prepare executive-level monthly and ad-hoc presentations with data-driven insights and action plans.
- Conduct financial analysis to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Create promotional copy in alignment with legal requirements and ensure execution across the site and marketing channels.
- Continuously evaluate the customer experience journey and guide optimization efforts to maximize conversion.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in eCommerce or a related industry; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience managing $50M+ eCommerce categories with demonstrated growth through innovative strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and partner across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated success delivering against revenue and profit targets in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution through influence.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills; high proficiency in Excel;
Tableau preferred. - Structured, process-oriented problem solver with an agile and adaptable mindset.
