Now, we’re entering our next phase of growth: building a scalable, high-performing retail title division and we’re looking for the right leader to help us do it.

We are seeking a VP of Business Development / Lead Escrow Officer to take ownership of both operations and growth within our retail title division. This is a senior leadership role designed for a proven escrow professional with strong business development experience. Someone who can lead from the front, close deals, build relationships, and help scale a team.

You will be responsible for managing escrow files from open to close while simultaneously expanding our retail presence through strategic partnerships, agent relationships, and team growth.

This role is in-office in Plano, TX with location growth and offers significant earning and leadership upside.

• Manage residential and/or investor escrow files from open to close with accuracy and efficiency
• Serve as the Lead Escrow Officer for the retail division
• Ensure compliance with Texas title regulations and internal processes
• Utilize Soft Pro as the primary CRM and escrow platform (required)

• Bring an existing book of business (preferred, not required)
• Leverage existing relationships with agents, investors, lenders, and builders
• Develop new partnerships and referral sources to grow retail volume
• Represent Prophet Title in the market with confidence and professionalism

• Build, lead, and mentor escrow officers and support staff as the division grows
• Help design workflows, best practices, and scalable processes
• Play a key role in shaping the long-term vision of the retail division

• Six-figure base salary (negotiable based on experience and book of business)
• Bonus and override structure tied to:
• Retail division volume
• Escrow officers added to your team
• Potential sign-on bonus for the right candidate
• Strong built-in pipeline from Prophet Homes and Welker Properties
• Long-term leadership opportunity with significant growth upside

• Active Texas Escrow Officer License
• 3+ years of residential and/or investor escrow experience
• Hands-on experience using Soft Pro as an escrow/CRM system (required)
• Proven ability to manage files accurately and independently
• Business development experience with a strong relationship-driven mindset
• Experience leading teams or helping scale operations is highly preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, follow-through, and professionalism
