📍 Plano, TX
⚡$80,000 – $90,000 / year + performance-based incentives & bonuses

OVERVIEW

A driven, high-performing Property Manager is needed to lead operations for a newly built independent senior living community in Plano, TX undergoing significant transition and repositioning. This role requires a true “mini CEO”, someone who can take ownership of the property, elevate performance, rebuild an on‑site team, stabilize occupancy, and guide the community through a full market‑rate lease‑up.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Serve as the operational leader and primary decision‑maker for the community.
  • Manage and mentor a 6‑person on‑site team:
    • Assistant Property Manager
    • Leasing Specialist
    • Activities Coordinator
    • Maintenance Technicians (x2)
    • Grounds Keeper
  • Drive occupancy and lead an aggressive lease‑up strategy.
  • Oversee resident satisfaction, retention, and community engagement.
  • Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, housing regulations, and local requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership on repositioning and the shift to full market‑rate operations.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and service delivery.
  • Maintain operational excellence, safety, and property performance.
WHAT IT TAKES
  • 3–5+ years of relevant property management experience (multifamily or senior living preferred).
  • Proven success managing lease‑ups, turnaround environments, or new market launches.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong budgeting, financial, and operational management skills.
  • Ability to excel in fast‑paced or complex business environments.
