Store General Manager - Plano North, TX

The General Manager leads a Pet Care Center, driving sales growth and ensuring animal welfare. The GM manages a team of center managers, partners and leaders, focusing on talent acquisition, training, guest service, sales, and process excellence.

  :
  Build and retain a diverse team that delivers exceptional service and guest loyalty, train and develop leaders, create a positive culture of teamwork and inclusion.
• Performance
  :
  Meet or exceed center sales, profitability and operational goals, schedule labor, interpret financial reports, and identify improvement strategies.
• Process
  :
  Manage animal welfare and health, merchandising, inventory, payroll, safety, and store appearance in compliance with Pet Co standards.
• Other Essential Duties
  :
  Model leadership and selling behaviors, promote safety, foster a collaborative culture, prioritize talent development, and engage partners. Represent Pet Co’s brand at the highest level.

• High school diploma or GED; proficiency in business, finance, analysis and problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Three or more years of management experience (retail preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and customer‑service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license.

The General Manager directly supervises a team of leaders and is responsible for all Pet Care Center partners.

Primarily indoor duties; occasional stocking, delivery, and bank deposits. Requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise up to 50 lb, and standing for long periods. Limited travel.
