Director of Tour Operations – All Inclusive

Job Summary

The Director of Tour Operator & Wholesale Strategy leads end-to-end channel development for a growing all-inclusive resort portfolio across Mexico and the Caribbean. This role drives incremental contribution, expands global source markets, enforces rate and value integrity, and integrates destination experiences to strengthen perceived value. Reporting to the SVP Commercial – All Inclusive, the Director partners cross-functionally with Revenue, Distribution, and Marketing to ensure disciplined contract ROI and market diversification.

KEY

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute wholesale and tour operator strategies that maximize net contribution and protect rate parity.
  • Negotiate contracts, performance terms, and anti-leakage provisions with key distribution partners.
  • Partner with Revenue to establish packaging and discount guardrails that preserve brand value.
  • Monitor pacing, mix, and demand signals to optimize yield and early production.
  • Build leakage detection and remediation frameworks to maintain channel integrity.
  • Expand international source markets through strategic co‑op campaigns and partnerships.
  • Oversee destination experience integration and pre‑opening readiness for new resorts.
  • Deliver performance dashboards and ROI reporting in partnership with BI Revenue and Finance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5 years of experience in contracting tour operator, wholesale and/or bedbank for all‑inclusive portfolios.
  • Skilled in data‑driven analysis, revenue collaboration, and channel governance.
  • Experience leading new resort launch or ramp‑up initiatives.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages (German, Portuguese) a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Willing to travel 40–50% to key markets and resort locations.
