Join Cheil Worldwide as a Group Account Director to lead integrated advertising and strategy for our global portfolio, including brands such as Adidas, Pay Pal, ESPN, Lego, Coca‑Cola, Nivea, Starbucks, and many more.

Our Dallas office is a key hub for Samsung Mobile projects in North America and brings together over 200 creative thinkers who combine data‑driven insights with innovative technology.

Location: Plano, TX –
Salary: $168,500 – $180,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the business lead for multiple assigned business verticals.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to partner with agency leadership, expand the business portfolio, and actively contribute to building a positive agency culture.
  • Provide strategic leadership and a roadmap that integrates all disciplines—strategy, creative, media, production, and analytics—ensuring a cohesive approach to client work.
  • Command complete ownership and accountability for assigned lines of business and key client relationships at all levels.
  • Identify opportunities to grow billings within assigned lines of business and deliver breakthrough work that delivers measurable impact.
  • Lead and mentor integrated cross‑functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment and setting high standards of excellence through coaching and mentorship.
  • Ensure financial operations across assigned lines of business are successful, establishing processes and best practices that keep the account efficient and profitable.
  • Build strong relationships with senior clients, having the ability to navigate complex conversations, offer solutions, and drive client success.
  • Manage multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring all team members are entrusted with work appropriate for their experience level and that the team remains challenged and engaged.
  • Assist with new business pitches, staying informed and sharing industry, cultural, and technological trends that inform the work.
  • Provide leadership to internal teams to ensure pitched concepts and high‑level adaptations become great executions worldwide.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, strategic communication, or a related field preferred.
  • 12+ years integrated advertising agency experience, or a combination of agency and in‑house experience preferred.
  • 8+ years supervisory experience and 5+ years as the leader of client business.
  • Experience managing large‑scale integrated campaigns and content production, including broadcast/digital, social, email, video production, photo shoots, and audio recording sessions.
  • Ideally with the majority of experience focused on CRM and data.
  • Proven track record of solid client partnership, exemplary team leadership, and world‑class output.
  • A great communicator (written and oral) and an excellent presenter that fully commands a room.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and well‑versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Workfront or similar.
  • Passionate about mentoring and training an industry‑leading team.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid office environment with minimum 2 days in‑office (Tuesday and Thursday) and Monday, Wednesday, Friday remote optional.
  • Resourceful, inquisitive, and an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of navigating challenges with a positive outlook.
  • Strong people skills and the natural ability to maintain a positive outlook even when faced with challenging circumstances or high‑pressure assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead relationships internally and externally to see the business from all sides and create momentum during times of ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to fix problems and navigate the road ahead to circumvent potential issues.
