Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Tuesday-Saturday 9A-5:30P)

Responsible for assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician and Director of Plant Operations in maintaining all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Assist in the execution of preventative maintenance program.
• Communicate with Director of Plant Operations for needed technical advice, product information, research and quality assurance guidance.
• Advise Director of Plant Operations of the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and minimum of five (5) year of maintenance experience required.
• Must express or demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
• Must have basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles.
• HVAC certification required.
