Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Overview

Challenger School is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in the Plano area. As a maintenance technician at Challenger you will be tasked with keeping our campuses safe, functional and well‑maintained.

The standard work week is Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 3:00 pm with occasional overtime opportunities.

On a day‑to‑day basis you will inspect facilities, perform routine maintenance tasks, respond to urgent repair requests and coordinate larger maintenance projects. A successful applicant will work for one of the most prestigious private pre‑K through 8th‑grade schools in the pay commensurate with your production and Challenger’s prestige. You will have the opportunity to quickly advance based on processes and procedures, learn new skills and teach others the skills you have in an honest, fair and supportive environment, a great deal of independence in completing your tasks.
