Technical Support Associate

Position Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is hiring a Technical Support Associate. Full Time, 12-month contract. Richardson, TX.

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electronic, mechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Lead or support installation and upgrade of new or existing production equipment.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance procedures (including Lockout / Tagout).
• Use multimeters, current probes, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose complex issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure factory equipment is safe, reliable, and efficient.
• Support layout planning, capital equipment procurement, and documentation updates.
• Participate in call-in and weekend work as required to support critical operations.

• Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance in a manufacturing / production setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with automated equipment and control systems.
• Experience with high voltage systems (480V, 208V, 110V, and DC voltages).
• Experience with multimeters, current probes, and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to work from schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and verbal instructions.
• Experience interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams and working with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift after training, with flexibility for weekends / call-ins.
• Comfortable working in a high-voltage, hands-on environment—this is not a desk or technician helper role.
• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related technical field.

Pay Range*: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
