Role Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our Plano office
. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys meaningful client interaction, and wants to work alongside some of the most respected family law attorneys in Texas.

What You'll Do

As a Family Law Paralegal at Koons Fuller, you’ll play a critical role in supporting attorneys and guiding cases from start to finish. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery, orders, inventories, and correspondence
  • Managing case calendars, deadlines, hearings, trials, and pretrial schedules
  • Organizing and maintaining electronic case files, documents, exhibits, and evidence
  • Assisting with discovery and trial/hearing preparation
  • Communicating regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and internal team members
  • Electronically filing pleadings and serving documents
  • Providing comprehensive case management support throughout the lifecycle of each matter
What We're Looking For
  • 5
    -7+ years of family law paralegal experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Texas Family Codeand Texas court rules, procedures, and practices
  • Experience handling complex and high-profile cases, including matters involving substantial estates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing interactions
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, case management systems, and server navigation
  • Experience with Westlaw Form Builder preferred
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as a collaborative team member
  • Board certified is a plus, but not required
