Production Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AI-Engineer for a 12–18-month contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.

LOCATION: PLANO, TX - ONISTE 3 DAYS A WEEK

THIS A PRODUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER/MONITORING/ L2

Rate: $60 - $65/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Required Qualifications:

• Production Support /L2 experience
• Dynatrace and/or Splunk
• Python Scripting (doesn’t need to be expert but some familiarity would be helpful)
• Implementing AI (CoPilot) Skills (Understanding how to use prompts)
• 7+ years of IT experience in production support with exposure to Level two production support tasks.
• Experience on working with Oracle/ Advanced PL SQL, Unix/Linux, Autosys, JIL script, windows/networking basics.
• Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Understanding of Incident, Problem and change management.
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Linux, JIRA, Autosys and ITSM Remedy
• Hands on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Dynatrace monitoring tools
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change management
• Good Analytical and reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and relationship development skills
• Exposure to working in Global team.
• Liferay Platform.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot business process issues security access problem and data inconsistencies in applications.
• Assist in testing and deploying updates during releases ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Self-Driven Person / Independent Worker / Willingness to Collaborate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with automation and simplification of tasks.
