Akkodis Position:
Lead (Contract) – Plano, TX

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will lead quality strategy and execution across enterprise platforms to ensure reliable, compliant, and high‑performing delivery.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and lead the overall quality strategy by defining domain‑level test approaches, creating comprehensive test plans, and ensuring alignment with architecture, sprint cadence, and release planning.
• Establish and govern quality standards, metrics, reporting, and test coverage expectations while ensuring adherence to Center of Quality Excellence (CQE) policies and regulated process controls.
• Provide ongoing QA leadership within agile delivery, supporting backlog refinement, guiding test design each sprint, and managing the defect lifecycle through resolution.
• Drive test automation strategy, frameworks, and CI/CD integration to enhance repeatability, reduce cycle times, and identify gaps that impact delivery or increase operational risk.
• Lead UAT planning and coordination by organizing business testers, validating scenarios, triaging issues, and delivering quality assessments for release decisions.
• Oversee SaaS quality management by reviewing vendor release notes, validating updates in lower environments, and monitoring integration and compliance impacts across systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10–12 years in software quality roles, including 3+ years leading QA for enterprise‑scale applications.
• Proven experience testing SaaS platforms, integrations, APIs, event‑driven workflows, and ETL/data pipelines.
• Strong background in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, UAT coordination, and driving compliance with internal quality/governance standards.
