Here is what is required on the candidates:

• Must be local and willing to work hybrid, up to 3-days onsite from either of the following client locations:

o Plano, TX

o Reston, VA

o Bethesda, MD

• Must be a Green Card Holder, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, or a US Citizen

• Must be extremely strong in full-scale Tableau BI reports development and creating dashboards

• Must have hands-on experience with Python - which they will use for scripting and ETL work for their cloud migration project

• Must have strong data modeling experience, dealing with Linear / Logical Regressions for Predictive Data

• Must have some form of cloud experience, preferably with AWS

• Must have some form of Mortgage or Financial Services Industry experience in which they may have dealt with mortgages and understand the mortgage business and terminology

• MUST HAVE STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS and experience presenting reports and presentations to senior leadership teams, and providing recommendations based on data evaluations

JOB DESCRIPTION

Tableau Reporting & Analytics Analyst/Advisor

Business Intelligence:

• Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

• Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation

• Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

• Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion

• Expertise in using statistical methods, including: developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions

• Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data

• Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

Required Skills:

ADDITIONAL NOTES AND INSIGHT FOR CANDIDATES:

WHAT TO EXPECT: STRONG hands-on Python Development will be critical for this role. The majority of their technical questions will surround Python in relation to migration to the Cloud. Most candidates that have been previously eliminated from consideration, have all been because their Python / ETL skills were not where they needed them to be for this particular role. BE PREPARED to answer technical questions surrounding Python.

ADDITIONAL INFO ABOUT THE PROJECT: They will discuss the challenges they are facing currently, which is primarily surrounding their cloud migration and for other OPD projects. Fannie Mae deals with large amounts of data and their objective is to streamline and consolidate everything into one place, which comes with a lot of complexity. Data is located across multiple different systems, with some of those being legacy systems with a lot of legacy processes that are still being utilized.

Just like the data sources, which haven't been updated, they also need to get them updated as well as a large number of inventory reports that they are trying to consolidate.
