We are currently seeking a Senior IBM ITXA Lead to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

• Solutions and executes migration of Mainframe applications into software equivalent systems (rehosting).
• 10 Years' + Relevant Experience mentioned below is Mandatory
• 8–12+ years in EDI/B2B integration with 5+ years with IBM ITX/ITXA (map design, type trees, rules, deploy).
• Hands-on migration experience from Mainframe Gentran (z/OS) to ITXA on Linux.
• Good knowledge ITXA components: mapping, schemas/type trees, runtime configuration, adapter/transport setup, trading partner configuration.
• Proficient with Linux administration for application runtime (services, file system, permissions, shell scripting).
• Familiarity with Mainframe concepts: JCL, batch scheduling, data sets etc.
• Uses knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, IMS, files, etc to find the right solution to migrate off the Mainframe.

• Expert experience and ability to understand of legacy and current technologies; expert ability to identify code patterns and understand coding strategies; ability to propose, design and implement migration solutions;
  Expert knowledge of NTTDS tools and methodology; ability to coach and mentor the transformation of applications, using modern technologies, frameworks, and test strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects or offer programming solutions at an advanced level.
• Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs.
• Ability to architect and design modernized systems with new technologies
• Ability to identify changes required in the NTTDS tools and methodology to meet a particular solution or customer need.

• Experience in requirements solicitation
• Able to differentiate between needs & wants
• Experience in translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Ability to work well within the team
• Familiar with programming languages, and able to read some legacy code at a high-level to understand code rules
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent

• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM files, etc.
