We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant with specialized knowledge in Epic or Cerner patient accounting systems to join our dynamic team. The Implementation Consultant will play a crucial role in deploying our Revenue Cycle healthcare solutions to our clients, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and has a proven track record of managing complex healthcare IT projects.
Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement:
Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and goals to ensure successful system integration. - Requirements Gathering:
Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions to capture detailed specifications and translate them into actionable project plans. - System Configuration:
Configure and customize solutions based on client-specific needs and industry best practices. - Data Migration:
Oversee the migration of data from Epic, Cerner and other host systems into Visi Quate, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. - Testing & Validation:
Lead testing efforts to validate system functionality and performance, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation process, providing timely and effective solutions. - Documentation:
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including site specification documents, status reports, and validation documents. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation process.
- Experience:
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience within a technology organization, consulting or equivalent, working in a delivery/implementation, Client-facing role. - Experience implementing workflow solutions in Epic, Cerner or similar systems in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Epic or Cerner are a plus. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in system configuration, data migration, and integration with other healthcare systems. Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards and best practices. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach. - Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to client sites as needed.
- Certifications:
Certified in one or more Epic modules (e.g., Epic Care Ambulatory, Epic Resolute) or Cerner Millennium. - Healthcare Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, and regulatory requirements. - Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders.
