Candidate can work Hybrid from Plano / McLean or Richmond.
Core AV Platforms:
Deep technical mastery of hardware, firmware, and programming environments for Poly, Cisco, Logitech, Crestron, Biamp, and Q-SYS configuration, control code debugging, and API integration.
Endpoint & Conferencing Systems:
Expert in platform-specific deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Web Ex.
Own the Vulnerability Lifecycle:
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the full vulnerability management lifecycle for UC systems (e.g., UC Room software, Crestron, Q-SYS, DSPs, MTR, and Zoom Room devices).
Looking for someone with strong administration components, and cloud infrastructure skill.
3 years of administrative experience with UC Platforms including MS Teams, Web Ex, Zoom, Google Meet.
Experience configuring AV hardware such as Extron, Crestron, QSYS, Biamp, Shure, Poly, Cisco, Logitech.
Extensive experience with enterprise networking and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles as they apply to AV and IT networks.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Focus on the AV UC engineering and administrative, and Zoom, Poly, Crestron, QSYS technologies. Also AWS cloud, automation, and cybersecurity skills.
Required Qualifications- 3-5 years in L3 (Tier
3) support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex, integrated AV/UC systems. - Expert-level knowledge of major UC applications and endpoints, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Web Ex and Zoom Rooms, including their Windows/Android operating systems and application logs.
- Expert-level experience configuring and managing Windows and Android based UC rooms and standard based video conferencing. Including Poly, Cisco, and Logitech hardware.
- Networking Fundamentals:
Expert knowledge of IP networking, QoS (Quality of Service), VLANs, and security protocols.
- Systematic Problem Solving:
Exceptional ability to translate a security report finding into a clear, executable remediation plan. - Security Mindset: A proactive, "security-first" approach to platform design and operational maintenance.
- Automation Advocate:
Strong desire to eliminate manual effort through secure and repeatable scripting.
Ability to work effectively across IT Security, Network Engineering, and UC Operations teams.
