We are focused on our polycloud enablement strategy to support Generative AI exploration, and other emerging business initiatives across Capital One. The Managed Infrastructure team is dedicated to empowering developers by centralizing and automating the entire infrastructure lifecycle. Our mission is to evolve the cloud experience beyond federated self-service into a fully managed, intent-driven platform. This strategic shift eliminates operational toil, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable enterprise operations.

As the Senior Product Manager, Platform Interface & Standards, you will serve as the primary architect for the "handshake" between our cloud infrastructure and the broader enterprise ecosystem. You will sit at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, security, and developer productivity. You are responsible for productizing the interfaces—including APIs, schemas, and software contracts—that allow developers to interact with the Managed Infrastructure Layer transparently.

In this role, you’ll learn the essentials of being a product manager, and we’ll invest in you to grow in four key areas:

• You’ll collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional research to define future feature design

• You'll breakdown business epics into features and further into user stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for a valid feature test

• Business Focused

• Demonstrate a growth mindset - effectively use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure your product or feature delivers on real business needs

• Support in prioritizing feature development roadmaps, ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk

• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive Product growth by aligning it to Capital One’s mission.
