On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Java Application Developer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX.

Monitoring solutions including HP BSM, HP UCMDB, Service Now, CA Spectrum, SCOM, Nagios platform to provide monitoring & management services. Enterprise Service Management team is responsible for implementing, configuring, managing these applications. To fulfill growing demand of these tools, we are looking for experienced professionals in application development using API (Java, REST, and SOAP) and script developer to enhance monitoring capability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Backend and Frontend Web developer to develop client code to enhance monitoring feature.

Responsible for building web interface that will be user experience driven and easy to use.

Own responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of significant subsystems within monitoring application, including participation in the definition of requirements, driving prototyping and/or design analysis, code development, testing and deployment.

Java Application Developer Mandatory Skills

• MUST have deep Perl & Power Shell expertise.
• Fluency with Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Internet protocols including SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, FTP, SSL, NFS, XML, and CSS.
• Development of Client code using Java API, REST API can be differentiator.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Engineering graduate with software development and configuration experience of 5 to 6 years minimum at expert level including leading the team or deployment
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple complex projects
• Drive the project activities with minimal supervision.
