Job Overview
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Information Security Architect in Plano, TX. The role will play a key part in shaping and advancing the company's security architecture, reporting to the VP of Enterprise Architecture and Standards. The architect will help define the long‑term vision for information security across the organization and combine strategic thinking with hands‑on technical expertise to address complex architectural challenges and ensure security principles are consistently applied.
The role involves partnering with technology and business teams to build scalable, resilient security capabilities that support both current operations and emerging initiatives, including enterprise AI.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to strengthen security processes, controls, and overall information security management.
- Ensure security architecture aligns with broader enterprise architecture goals and business strategies.
- Support project teams operating in Agile/Scrum environments by embedding security early in solution design.
- Build strong partnerships with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business units to drive shared security priorities.
- Identify areas where automation or process improvements can enhance security operations.
- Lead security enhancement efforts in coordination with Information Security and Technology groups.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable architectural solutions.
- Ensure security capabilities enable innovation, including enterprise AI initiatives.
- Oversee the quality and consistency of architecture deliverables and documentation.
- Maintain security standards, policies, procedures, and architectural patterns.
- Provide strategic recommendations to Information Security leadership to help shape roadmaps and future planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- At least seven years of practical experience working in identity and access management and designing information security architectures.
- A strong history of creating and deploying security solutions that can support large, complex enterprise environments.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise technologies including Salesforce, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Power Shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of IT architecture concepts, security frameworks, and foundational design principles.
- Knowledge of established security architecture patterns spanning cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery models and the ability to operate effectively within them.
- Well‑developed skills in assessing risk and designing mitigation strategies in multifaceted IT ecosystems.
- Deep technical expertise with major Identity & Access Management platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, and Azure AD/Entra .
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
