Netezza DBA
Location:
Plano, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities- Functions of the DBA include coordinating changes to Netezza databases,implement the changes to the database.
- Review SQL queries and database design for performance.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
- Develop standard and best practices for Netezza database.
- 8 years experience of Netezza as DBA preferably with previous financial data.
- Extensive knowledge of Netezza.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
