PROJECT

DESCRIPTION:

• Perform deep development/enhancement of Open Stack components [Cinder, Swift, Image, Horizon & Identity and Billing (Ceilometer)]
• Participate in product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis of Open Stack . Research problems and develop solutions for issues discovered by our Operations teams
• Research bugs and submit bug reports to our internal teams or upstream Open Stack projects
• Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Infrastructure across client
• Maintains and advances industry expertise and bring technical leadership

• Must have Experience in Open Stack development
• Very strong in the scripting technologies:
  Python and Ruby
• Understanding of opensource and experience of working with RDBMS (MySQL), No
  
  SQL (Mongo
  
  DB), Django, Apache httpd
• Experience working with Messaging Services like RabbitMQ
• Experience in High Availability Architecture and Deployments (Linux HA, Pacemaker, DRBD)
• Understanding of Linux scheduling (Cgroups), Linux networking (Name spaces, SELinux, IPtables, IP, GRE, VXLAN) and SDN technology (Open vSwitch)
• Experience in storage configuration on Linux (LVM, iSCSI, SAN, NAS, Multipath, and etc)
• Knowledge of cloud and software engineering
• Knowledge or experience within infrastructure i.e. systems, database, cloud, networking, storage, compute
