Principal Network Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco ACI, Nexus platforms, and modern data center networking
. This role will provide both hands‑on technical leadership and architectural vision
, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise‑grade, scalable, and secure network infrastructures across colocation and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a ground‑up build scenario
, owning data center networking end‑to‑end while mentoring engineers and shaping long‑term strategy.

• Architect & implement scalable, secure, and high‑performance network solutions for large‑scale data centers.
• Design and manage ACI fabrics, Arista networks, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Lead deployment & lifecycle management of firewalls, load balancers, and SDN solutions.
• Automate network operations using Ansible and infrastructure‑as‑code for consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with cloud, security, and Dev Ops teams to align networking with business objectives.
• Provide mentorship & technical leadership to engineers, instilling best practices and driving knowledge‑sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues while leading root cause analysis.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance performance, resilience, and security posture.

• 10+ years of enterprise networking experience, including 3+ years in a principal or lead engineering role.
• Expert‑level knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus (2K–9K), Arista VXLAN/EVPN, and Cloud Vision
  .
• Strong understanding of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and virtualization networking (VMware NSX/AVI).
• Proficiency in Ansible, automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices
  .
• Proven ability to design, troubleshoot, and lead complex, mission‑critical network solutions
  .

• Familiarity with UCS, Hyper Flex, VMware, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of overlay technologies (OTV, LISP, BGP EVPN).
• Relevant certifications: CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Hands‑on from day one with ownership of data center networking.
• Expected to grow into a broader leadership role

• Direct involvement in a ground‑up data center build
• Oversee infrastructure for an 8MW data center
  , with phased 2MW deployments annually starting February 2026.
