Senior Azure Cloud Engineer​/Hybrid​/Plano TX

Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer to support a hands-on Azure environment for a growing enterprise team in Plano, TX. This is a contract to hire role focused on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure cloud operations, not high-level architecture or people management. This role is best suited for someone who is still in the weeds technically, comfortable owning production systems, and able to operate as a primary technical resource.

This role offers real ownership and impact, you’ll be building, improving, and supporting Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines that directly support application teams. The environment values execution over buzzwords, with leadership looking for someone who can evaluate what exists today and makes practical improvements. This is a clear path to full time conversion, long term stability, and the opportunity to be a key technical contributor rather than one of many.

• Senior-level experience as a Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Engineer, or Cloud Engineer
• Hands-on experience building and supporting Azure Dev Ops pipelines
• Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation
• Power Shell scripting experience
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure (compute, networking basics, deployments)
• Comfortable supporting production environments
• Able to work onsite Monday–Friday in Plano, TX
• Can provide specific, hands-on examples of work they personally implemented

• Prior contract-to-hire experience
• Background supporting SaaS or application-heavy environments
• Experience working on smaller or lean engineering teams
• Monitoring/logging experience (Azure-native or third-party)
