About this opportunity: Are you curious about how cybersecurity incidents are handled behind the scenes? Do you enjoy technical problem‑solving and want to grow your skills while working on real‑world security challenges? If yes, this role could be a great next step for you.

As a Cybersecurity Incident Specialist, you’ll work side‑by‑side with our Cybersecurity Incident Manager, supporting incident response activities, technical analysis, and proactive security improvements. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll learn how incidents are detected, investigated, and resolved — while also contributing to strengthening our overall security posture. This role is ideal for someone early in their cybersecurity career who wants exposure, mentorship, and real impact.

You’ll be supported by experienced professionals, work on meaningful security challenges, and build a strong foundation for future growth within incident management or broader cybersecurity roles.

What you will do
  • Support incident response activities from initial detection through resolution, working closely with the Cybersecurity Incident Manager and senior team members.
  • Assist with technical analysis and investigations, helping gather data, review logs, and document findings during security incidents.
  • Contribute to post‑incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by supporting evidence collection and follow‑up actions.
  • Help track and maintain incident metrics and documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in proactive security activities, such as identifying recurring issues, supporting remediation efforts, and improving processes and playbooks.
  • Perform technical evaluations of third‑party solutions, supporting the Information Security and Privacy teams with assessments and technical input.
  • Work hands‑on with security tools, platforms, and technologies, gaining exposure across infrastructure, networks, cloud, and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support secure operations and continuous improvement.
The skills you bring
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or similar field of study.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • A foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks (such as ISO
27001 or NIST), incident response, or IT operations.
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn through hands‑on experience.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail — you like figuring out how things work and what went wrong.
  • Basic technical skills across IT environments (e.g., networks, systems, cloud, or applications)
  • Experiance or interest in building automations and/or AI agents.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team‑based environment.
  • Interest in security tools, emerging threats, and continuous improvement.
