Job Title:
Senior System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for the Ping Federate-based SSO authentication platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve SSO and authentication issues across enterprise applications
• Support internal workforce users via Slack and other support channels
• Partner with IAM and authentication teams to identify and remediate platform gaps
• Assist with onboarding new applications to SSO
• Resolve SAML attribute mapping and configuration issues
• Perform engineering activities including platform upgrades, stack refreshes, and security/compliance‑driven redeployments
• Execute frequent deployments (multiple times per month) of the SSO platform
• Collaborate closely with application teams to ensure seamless workforce authentication
• Participate in broader IAM initiatives as needed

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands‑on expertise with Ping Federate (SME‑level preferred)
• Deep understanding of IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
• Experience with policy management, adapter configuration, selector setup, and access token management
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SSO and authentication issues
• Experience supporting workforce authentication platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub
• Experience deploying and redeploying authentication platforms in response to vulnerabilities, security, and compliance requirements

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Okta (secondary to Ping Federate expertise)
• Exposure to large‑scale or enterprise IAM environments

Location: Plano, TX (Open to other locations: Richmond, VA and McLean, VA)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000– $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
