Help Desk Support

Job Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Help Desk Support for a Contract position with a client in Plano, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate excels at resolving technical issues quickly via chat or phone and supports team growth by assisting in training new agents.

$20/hour to $22/hour; negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Respond promptly to user inquiries via phone or chat.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues remotely.
• Document incidents and solutions using a ticketing system (e.g., Service Now).
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new support agents.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification (Associate’s Degree preferred).
• At least 1 year of remote help desk support experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Mac support experience or Mac Integration Basics certification.
• Windows 10 support experience or Windows 10 certification.
• Experience using Service Now or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
