Senior Cloud Architect

Business Unit Manager @ Centraprise | North America Client Management | Volume full time hiring

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in working with AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
• Experience in defining the ‘right fit’ Architecture for Applications based on AWS Well architecture framework.
• Stateful and stateless application design experience.
• Hands on Experience in designing and provisioning Infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions.
• Strong understanding of AWS Security and how to meet application compliance requirements.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities – self‑service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

AWS Certified Solution Architect

• Strong understanding of On Prem Infrastructure for Applications (Network, Storage, Processing, Backup/DR etc).
• Experience in working with hybrid Infra architectures.
• Work with hybrid Infra architectures – on prem and AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
• Define the ‘right fit’ Architecture for Applications in AWS Cloud as per best practices and standards.
• Design and provision Infrastructure on AWS Cloud as part of the on prem migration of Applications.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Github Actions.
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
• Working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities – self‑service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
• Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
• Drive continuous improvement including design, and standardization of process and methodologies.
• Assess feasibility, complexity and scope of new capabilities and solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
• Work on architecture consulting engagements as well as assist in submitting proactive proposals to grow the business.
