AWS, Data Integration, API

• They are doing a lot of data movement architecture (very critical - How do we get the data (API? Data bus? Etc)
• This person will likely be involved in some of the data contracts (identify data elements, contracts, get agreements, etc)
• Recommends data movement architecture that is scalable, secure and can perform data completeness checks. Provides data mapping for entity is being backed up and validates it is in a SOR. Reviews data fields to ensure consistency from end to end.
• Evaluates new and current technologies using existing data architecture standards and frameworks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Represents the data architecture team at technical governance bodies and provides feedback regarding proposed improvements regarding data architecture governance practices
• They are working both on prem and cloud - MUST HAVE some AWS experience
• Ability to perform pros/cons to identify architectural solutions for data movement. Solution needs to be scalable, secure and can perform data completeness checks. AWS experience is helpful and on prem architectures.
• Someone that has integrated a lot of different data sources will make them stand out above the rest (Data integration from system A to B to C etc.) - Would almost search specifically for a data architect that focused on data integrations
