SAP PO/PI, CPI Developer (Data Integration Engineer)

The Data Integration Team is looking for an SAP PO/PI, CPI support resource. This resource will have the opportunity to provide subject matter expertise, support, tool administration, and solution architecture oversight for SAP PO/PI & SAP CPI toolset for Marathon Petroleum Company. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a strong data integration team and provide development, support, education, consulting, best practices, and promotion of the usage of SAP PO/PI, SAP CPI toolset for application interface development both within and outside SAP application landscapes.

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for application integrators leveraging the SAP PO/PI, SAP CPI toolset.
• Assist with establishing PI standards, best practices, and strategy for upgrades, migration around SAP PI toolset and environment.
• Provide solution and governance design and help to resolve standards non-compliance exception cases.
• Identify new capabilities, conduct proof of concepts, and work with the SAP infrastructure group to evolve architecture standards, upgrades, migration to SAP RISE.
• Monitor and support for the PI technical landscape including communication channel management, configuration, trouble shooting, testing, and transport processing for various environments (QA, Production, N+1, sandbox etc.).
• Partner with data architecture, agile teams and business unit IT teams to gather, and document interface solution requirements, development and implementation.
• Share on call responsibilities with peers during major upgrades, migration, and projects.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in building and supporting SAP PO/PI, SAP CPI interfaces in a complex IT environment that includes on-premises and multi-cloud, SaaS sources and target applications.

Working knowledge/familiarity with Oil & Gas industry processes is a plus.

• Must have solid knowledge of SAP PO/PI, CPI architecture, development & support process, and a good knowledge of SAP ecosystem as it relates to integration.
• Familiarity and experience with Scaled Agile, Dev Ops, Service Now for ITSM, Change Management
