Hadoop Production Support

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Production support with Hadoop development experience to join a team within Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology LOB. This person will work on a hybrid schedule in Plano, Texas. Looking for someone who must be able to self‑manage work. This is a production support environment and perfect candidate must be able to take initiative to troubleshoot and figure out issues and resolutions independently and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

• Solid Unix skills o Bash Scripting commands
• Solid SQL language skills
• Solid Hadoop skills o Hadoop production support experience in a Dev/Ops environment o experience/exposure Spark development, optimization and troubleshooting o Hadoop troubleshooting from a production support perspective
• Strong data and code analysis skills (troubleshooting data quality/integrity, root causes) Comfortable working with all levels of management Comfortable with bringing attention to risks before they become issues. Comfortable with leading small efforts

• Decent Java skills a huge bonus
